Called in next day to collect 3 big items as arranged (ready/assembled) at the door. was also given a demo by Roy, on how to operate all of them & fuel/additives to use.

Never felt rushed in any of my questions or made to buy a product that was overkill for my needs.

Very good selection of equipment,  very reasonably priced and helpful staff.

Bought a new Husqvarna 135 mk11 chainsaw and had two warranty issues. First was the chain tension from new and second was the clutch spring broke after about 6 weeks.
Had to argue to get them sorted under warranty - was asked to pay for the clutch spring even though I know of two other identical saws with the same problem.

Will not be going back due to the horrible attitude of the staff at the counter and will think hard about buying another husqvarna if this is how the warranty issues are dealt with

Was on the lookout for new wheel for a gravel bike. Saw a good price online which was a black Friday sale price. As I like and prefer to shop within ireland I rang around to various shops that stock these wheels. Spoke to a well known shop in Dublin which I have spent large sums of money in before to see if they would do me a deal. The owner was quite rude over the phone and so turned me off probably for life. Rang clarkes and spoke with Neil. He was a pleasure to deal with. And was more than willing to match the online price. This was incredibly good service as these wheels are 1200 euros normally. He even put my tyres on, changed over my gears and added sealant all for no extra charge. Absolutely fantastic service and overall customer experience. Will definitely be back and I would highly recommend clarkes of cavan for all your cycling needs. Thanks guys.

Super team! I had no idea about lawn mowers and Killian was super supportive and he helped me to choose the perfect one for me. We had a delivery issue with one of the items purchased and they worked really hard until I finally got it delivered. Super happy with the machine and the attention received by the team of Clarkes of Cavan. I will buy from them again in the future for sure.

Placed an order last Thursday, today is Tuesday!

I ordered an item for which payment was collected immediately and we are talking a significant sum.  The way things happened and the shipping policy seemed to indicate that I would receive my purchase with 48 via Royal Mail.

I received a Royal Mail tracking number via email and every time I check the tracking app I’m told that Royal Mail have not received the item.

It’s extremely disappointing not to receive the purchase as expected (within 48 hours) as I had planned a job over the weekend.  I even tried the online chat and that didn’t produce any answers or satisfactory response.  “I’m waiting for my colleague to get back to me”.

To top it all I tried logging in to the Clarke’s website after I completed the purchase.  I logged on and got access to someone else’s personal data and address details etc.  I guess that’s a job for the data / information commissioner.

Report:  Could do better, needs to pay more attention to detail.
